LMS integration
Launch Sonara courses from the LMS you already run.
Sonara works as an LTI 1.3 tool, and exports SCORM and cmi5 packages for any other LMS. Learners launch Sonara courses from the LMS, results go back to its gradebook, and xAPI statements can go to your learning record store.
What works today
LTI 1.3 launch
Signed launches from your LMS are validated, and learners land straight in the course.
Deep Linking
Instructors pick a Sonara course from inside the LMS and add it where they want it.
Grade passback
Completion and scores go back to the LMS gradebook through Assignment and Grade Services.
Account linking
People who launch from the LMS are matched to their Sonara account, or given one.
SCORM and cmi5 packages
Download a SCORM 1.2, SCORM 2004 or cmi5 package for any published course and upload it to your LMS. The course stays live in Sonara, so updates reach learners without a new upload, and status and score are reported back.
xAPI
Send course launches, progress, answers and completions to your own learning record store.
Set up in the admin panel
Admin, then LMS, lists each registration with the tool URLs and keys your LMS asks for, and walks through Canvas and Moodle setup. Existing SCORM 1.2, SCORM 2004 and cmi5 packages can be imported and rebuilt.

Single sign-on with OIDC or SAML 2.0, two-factor sign-in, SCIM provisioning, CSV roster import, roles, a security audit log, CAC/PIV and data residency.
