Onboarding and recertification
From the first day to the next renewal.
Set up onboarding journeys by team and role, assign courses with due dates, and let Sonara handle the reminders. Courses that expire come back around for recertification on schedule, with the earlier completions kept on the record.
Onboarding journeys
By team and role
Administrators decide what each team and role learns first. People are matched to a journey when they join.
A spoken welcome
The instructor greets each new person by name and opens the first step of their plan.
A first-week plan
A clear list of what to do now and what comes next, on the learner's home page.
Assignments and reminders
Due dates
Assign courses to people and teams with a due date.
Reminders that keep going
Reminders in the days before the due date, another the day after it passes, then weekly while it stays overdue. Each workspace can adjust the schedule.
Escalation
When someone is well overdue, the person who assigned the course and the workspace administrators are told.
In the app and by email
Reminders show in the app, and by email at most once a day. Each person can turn the emails off.
Recertification
Completions that expire
Set how many months a completion stays valid. Learners are reminded as expiry approaches and can retake ahead of it.
History kept
A retake records a new completion. Earlier completion dates stay on the record.
Who's behind
The overdue view shows who is late and whose certifications have lapsed or soon will.
